Seasonal American bistro Restaurant 3000 in Menlo Park is expected to reopen this summer, said owner Joel Sage.
The restaurant closed for renovations in October, Sage said, despite Google and Yelp listing the restaurant as open and the website not announcing the temporary closure. The menu may or may not remain the same once reopened, as plans are still being finalized, said Sage.

During renovations, Restaurant 3000 offers catering through Sage’s other Menlo Park restaurant Eats at 1440. While Restaurant 3000’s phone line has been disconnected, you can call Sage directly at 650-218-7884. The Restaurant 3000 catering menu changes weekly and includes items like soups, salads, pizzas, paninis and sandwiches. For the week of Feb. 12, the special of the week is miso glazed salmon with baby bok choy, shiitake mushrooms, organic asparagus, kimchi, toasted sesame seeds and steamed jasmine rice ($25). Each week also features a new pizza of the week and panini of the week.
