The Menlo Park Library at 800 Alma St. will be closed May 18-19 as city staff prepare for the opening of the new Belle Haven Community Campus at 100 Terminal Ave.

The Belle Haven Community Campus Grand Opening will take place Saturday, May 18, from 11 a.m.-2 p.m., with a ribbon cutting taking place at 11:30 a.m. The event will also include tours of the new facility, family activities, local food, entertainment and more.

Parking at the event will be limited, so the city is asking that people bike, walk or park at 200 Jefferson Drive and take the free shuttle to the grand opening.

The new facilities at the Community Campus include the Belle Haven Library, Belle Haven Pool, Belle Haven Youth Center, Menlo Park Senior Center and Onetta Harris Community Center.

Both libraries will be open on Monday, May 20, for their regular hours of noon-8 p.m.
