Redwood City man arrested in Pescadero stabbing, carjacking

A 24-year-old Redwood City man was arrested Saturday morning in the Pescadero area of San Mateo County after causing a brief shelter-in-place order to be issued by the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office. 

Police arrest 3 teens after shots fired at Redwood City apartment

On Thursday evening, Redwood City police arrested three teens after shots were fired into an apartment building in the 1000 block of Adams Street, according to a police report.

Stanford vandalism case ends in mistrial after ‘hopelessly deadlocked’ jury

A Santa Clara County judge declared a mistrial Friday in the felony vandalism case of five Stanford University students who had barricaded themselves in the president’s office during a spring 2024 protest in support of Palestine, after he found the jury to be “hopelessly deadlocked.”
