Kevin E. Barron, 53, passed away on December 8, 2022. Kevin is survived by his son, Max Barron, father Gene (Gena) Barron, sister Sherri (Ken) Calderhead, nieces Kaitlyn, Kelly and Kyra, plus other extended family and close friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothea Barron and grandparents, Bernard (Marjorie) Barron and Carl (Thea) Schaeberle. He is also survived by his longtime love Monica Spear and former wife Kirsten Barron.
Kevin was born in San Francisco and raised in Daly City. He was a 1987 graduate of El Camino High School in South San Francisco. After high school, he attended San Diego State University where he was a founding member of Phi Kappa Theta and graduated with a degree in finance.
Kevin had an adventurous spirit and loved to be outdoors, especially on the coast or in the mountains. He enjoyed sports, particularly baseball, and was often known as the chief coordinator for office Fantasy Football. Kevin was a true artist at heart, playing multiple instruments and writing beautiful music and poetry. In adulthood, he developed an interest and talent for the culinary arts as well, preparing both traditional and multicultural contemporary dishes. Kevin was a self-described science nerd, and especially loved astronomy. He could identify every star and constellation and found joy in sharing this knowledge with others. Kevin was the person everyone wanted on their trivia team and his quick-wit and sense of humor was like no other.
