Lemuel Davis Bishop, 91, of Beaverton, Oregon, who was born in Palo Alto and was the quarterback of Palo Alto High School’s football team, who graduated from Menlo College, who was vice president of finance for a Sunnyvale company and who was a devoted 49ers fan, died on Oct. 20, 2025.
Craig Leon Wentz, 62, of Denver Colorado, who was born in Mountain View and raised in Menlo Park, who worked for 25 years in the sports media industry, who also worked helping people with dementia and those in short-term rehabilitation, who celebrated 31 years of sobriety and who read the Bible in a single year, died on Dec. 10, 2025.
George Geoffrey Westerfield, 67, of Menlo Park, who served as vice president of merchandising for ComputerWare, a Macintosh-only storefront that was a gathering spot for the early Apple community, who coached boys’ basketball at Woodside Priory School and who was a fan of The Grateful Dead, died on Dec. 1, 2025.
