Update: As of Wednesday, Jan. 3, 2024, the Redwood City Police Department's 7-digit emergency phone lines are back in service, the police department announced after being out of service for four days.
The Redwood City Police Department said some of its seven-digit emergency lines are down Saturday.
Three of the department’s emergency phone lines are down due to technical difficulties, but it’s unclear as to what those are. The police are asking residents needing assistance to call 9-1-1 for emergencies and 650-780-7100 for non-emergencies.
The police department is looking into restoring service to the phone lines, according to a release via Nixle.
The following numbers are inactive until further notice: 650-369-3331, 650-369-3332, and 650-369-3333.
