The Port of Redwood City has brought in three new commissioners as it continues to see steady economic growth, according to a Port news release.
Mike Claire, Chu Chang, and Dani Gasparini are the newest additions to Port’s leadership team. Claire, a longtime educator and administrator in San Mateo County; Chang, a leader in Silicon Valley’s building and infrastructure sectors; and Gasparini, a former Redwood City mayor, will each serve four-year terms.
Alongside their appointment, board officers were also elected on Aug. 28, with Stan Maupin as chairperson, Nancy Radcliffe as vice chairperson and Claire as secretary, each serving a one-year term.
This leadership change comes as the Port wraps up fiscal year 2024 with 1.83 million metric tons of cargo and $10.2 million in revenue, reflecting slight growth from the previous year.
