The Redwood City Police Department reported at 4:23 p.m. that there were a pair of power outages in the area.
The first appeared to be in the area of Woodside and Middlefield roads near North Fair Oaks. The second was south of El Camino Real in the vicinity of Woodside Road.
Police said there were extensive travel delays on area roads as a result. The power was expected to be restored at 7 p.m., according to a text from police.
