Show off your photography skills in our annual competition. Peninsula photographers of all ages and skill levels who live, work or attend school within the 650 area code are invited to submit entries for six different visual categories:

  • Abstract
  • Landscapes
  • Moments
  • Portraits
  • Travel
  • Wildlife

2021 “Best in Show” Portraits Winner (Youth) by Emma Sloan, “Six Months,” was a self-portrait illustrating the changes the photographer went through over half a year.

Each category offers adult and youth divisions. Winning photos and those selected for exhibition will be displayed at the Palo Alto Art Center. Winning images will also appear on Palo Alto Online and its social media accounts and on TheSixFifty.com, as well as the Palo Alto Art Center’s publications, website, social media and promotions. A selection of winning photos will also be published in the Palo Alto Weekly.
