Indie-rock singer-songwriter Mitski, who released her most recent album – “The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We” – last year, makes her Frost Amphitheater debut this week as part of her current tour.
With fans reportedly including former President Barack Obama, Mitski is known for “candid lyrics and a catchy yet volatile version of indie rock,” according to Stanford Live’s event listing. Also on the bill is country singer/songwriter Wyatt Flores, who released the EP, “Half Life,” in April and has a full-length debut, “Welcome to the Plains,” due in October.
Sept. 25, 7 p.m., Frost Amphitheater, 351 Lasuen St., Stanford; ticket prices vary depending on seating; live.stanford.edu/events/2024-frost/mitski.
