What’s New at the Farmers Market Saturday

Weekly guide to treasures at the Kiwanis Redwood City Farmers Market

Saturday, September 6, 8 a.m.-1 p.m., 500 Arguello Street, RWC

Meet Georgette (and Marge)!

Georgette from Kitchen Table Travel & Marge, her adorable truck, are brand new to the Market. She introduced us to amazing cheeses: Salva Crermasca from Italy and Wyfe of Bath from England, where the cheese flavors slightly change depending on where their cows are pasturing. An international experience through cheese!

Featuring Onki Bakery

Come by early and meet Gahee Lee, an Economist who, 11 years ago, decided she wanted to become a Baker. She attended  Le Cordon Bleu in Paris, supported Michelin restaurants, and started Onki Bakery, which has become a crowd favorite. These bear goodies were pretty much all that was left at 9:30 a.m.!

Asian veggies at Golden Zone

Great selection of daikon, corbaci peppers, bitter melon, tomatoes, Japanese cucumber, yam leaves, Thai chilies, jujubees, Asian raw peanuts. Fresh ginger is most popular!

For the Kids: Face-painting, RWC Library books!!

Arrive early! Many vendors sell out their best items by 10:30 a.m.!

Redwood City Kiwanis volunteers host the Redwood City Farmers Market, the proceeds of which benefit under-resourced local schools.
