A man suspected of indecent exposure by publicly fondling himself earlier this week was arrested, the Redwood City Police Department said.
The 45-year-old man was arrested following reports of a person exposing himself and visibly masturbating while walking down El Camino Real in a busy area of downtown Redwood City on Tuesday. Police said they used a drone to locate and arrest him.
It is not the first time the man has faced similar allegations. He was previously booked on suspicion of sexual battery in 2019 after allegedly groping a woman and exposing himself at a Planned Parenthood in Redwood City.
He is currently being held at Maguire Correctional Facility in San Mateo, where he faces felony counts of indecent exposure, a parole violation and failure to register as a sex offender.
