Community policing
The Redwood City Police Advisory Committee, an agency with no oversight authority over the police department, is inviting the public to a town hall this evening to gather public feedback on issues facing Redwood City officers and law enforcement. The town hall comes after months of planning and is an attempt by the police to open a dialogue with the community, expanding their community policing efforts. The town hall will be in-person at the Police Activities League at 3399 Bay Rd. at 6 p.m. You can register here.
