The Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA’s Pet of the Week is Thor.
Thor is a 1 year-11-month-old Siberian Husky mix looking to celebrate his second birthday with his forever family. Is that you? Have you ever wished for a big fluffy dog with the personality of a cat? If so, Thor may be your guy. He loves to go on adventures, but he also enjoys lounging on the couch. Doesn’t he sound like the perfect companion? He has excellent car manners, and he’s getting better every day with his leash manners. (Can you blame him for investigating when birds or squirrels run by?) His ideal home would be with someone who is ready for a sweet, energetic pup and will take the time to help him overcome his shyness. Since he’s easily overwhelmed, he prefers a quiet but active home. He loves to run zoomies, play with toys, and even jump into water. Once he gets to know you, he’ll be your best buddy.
