Caltrans has begun pavement work on southbound U.S. Highway 101 between Whipple Avenue in Redwood City and the San Mateo/Santa Clara County line, the agency said in a Facebook post.
The work will continue every day through Friday, June 7, from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. While work is in progress, the No. 1 and No. 2 lanes will be closed throughout the night.
Caltrans advised motorists to prepare for delays. The schedule may change if the weather causes disruption.
