Formed in Michigan in the early ’90s, rock band The Verve Pipe rose to fame with the release of their 1996 major-label album “Villains,” featuring the hit song “The Freshman.”

After a hiatus in the early 2000s, the band ventured into children’s and family music, then returned to its rock roots with the release of “Overboard” in 2014. “Threads” was released in 2021. Still going strong recording and performing, the group comes to The Guild as a stop on its current tour.
