‘Ken Peplowski: Unheard Bird’
Clarinetist and saxophonist Ken Peplowski showcases jazz great Charlie Parker’s unrecorded, long-lost string arrangements for a Stanford Jazz Festival performance, accompanied by strings and woodwinds. At Stanford, he’ll be joined by Adam Shulman on piano, Isaac Coyle on bass, Sylvia Cuenca on drums, Shaina Evoniuk, Michele Walther, Michael Sze on violin, Ivo Bokulić on viola, Byron Hogan on cello, Amy Ahn on harp, and Troy Davis on oboe.
