With kitten season in full swing, the Nine Lives shelter in Redwood City has announced that it has a surplus of cute and cuddly cats and kittens that are currently available for adoption.

Local residents can come check out their potentially new furry family members at the Nine Lives Adoption Center, located at 3106 Rolison Rd. in Redwood City, between the hours of 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. every Thursday-Sunday. The center’s roster of adoptable pets can also be found online.

Additionally, Nine Lives also offers low-cost spay/neuter surgeries for pets, which can be booked via an appointment — either by phone (at 650-368-1365) or online.

Spaying and neutering services are available Monday-Thursday, between 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., at Nine Lives’ Cat Clinic located at 3137 Jefferson Ave.

No-appointment-necessary services — such as vaccines, deworming, testing, microchipping and nail trimming — are also accessible every Wednesday from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.

Nine Lives Foundation is a nonprofit organization that provides lifesaving services for cats and kittens in need, along with offering inexpensive, compassionate care for feline companions and the people who care for them.
