Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Meet Tigger, our gentle and loving boy with mesmerizing amber eyes. At just over a year old, Tigger has spent more than 300 days in our care, waiting for his forever home.

Nine Lives Pet of the week Tigger

Found as a kitten on the streets of Oakland, Tigger’s start in life was rough, and he can be a bit shy around new people. But once he warms up, he’s a true sweetheart. His previous foster parents shared that “Tigger is a very gentle and lovely boy. He likes touches and pettings, especially on his neck and shoulders, and he might snug his little head to your body sometimes. Tigger loves to play and he is quite active sometimes in the day. He also loves sleeping with humans so please acknowledge his affection by napping side by side.”

Tigger’s love for food makes it easy to bond with him—just have some treats in hand! But be mindful of open containers; Tigger loves to share food with you.Despite his shyness when potential adopters come around, Tigger’s heart is full of love. He deserves to be snuggled up on a loving nap in a permanent home.

Even though Kitten Season is well underway, it’s important to remember that adult cats like Tigger need love too. Please consider opening your heart and home to this sweet boy. He deserves all the love and warmth a forever family can provide.

If you would like to make an appointment to meet Tigger or be part of our foster to adopt program, please email contact@ninelivesfoundation.org.
