The Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA’s Pet of the Week is Oliver.
Oliver is a looker. Couldn’t you just melt into those mesmerizing amber eyes? He is a 3-year-old pit bull/lab mix who is full of energy and loves going for walks. He’s a sweet and affectionate young man, especially once he’s had a chance to run, play, and get all his wiggles out. He happens to love treats, which should come in handy when it comes to training. Oliver is currently working on his doggy social skills, so for the moment, it might be best if he is the only dog in the household while he continues his training in his new home. His caretakers say he has an adorably goofy side and is a very good boy who walks with a loose leash the whole way! That means he’s not tugging and pulling and resisting his human walker while they are out and about together.
