After the final filings, the Redwood City Council race is set with key candidates vying for seats. Mayor Jeff Gee is running unopposed for re-election in District 1, while Vice Mayor Lissette Espinoza-Garnica faces a challenge in District 3 from Planning Commissioner and Friendly Acres co-chair Isabella Chu. In District 4, Elmer Martinez Saballos is running unopposed. District 7 will see a competitive race between former council member Diana Reddy and Marcella Padilla, both strong contenders for the seat.
