With just days until Election Day, Marcella Padilla has pulled in $26,460 for her Redwood City Council District 7 campaign, far outpacing her opponent Diana Reddy’s $8,312 haul this year. Padilla’s donors include Redwood City Council member Alicia Aguirre and East Palo Alto Mayor Antonio Lopez, along with local residents, and she’s loaned herself $11,000 to boost her campaign. Meanwhile, Reddy’s supporters include retired residents and small contributions from local officials. Both candidates have focused spending on campaign signs, mailers, and outreach as they push through the final stretch before Nov. 5.
