NAMI San Mateo County has appointed Hee-Yeon Woo to its board of directors, bringing 25 years of technical and business leadership experience to the Redwood City-based mental health organization.

Woo is a senior IT project manager in the Office of the CIO at Stanford University, where she leads a major systems modernization initiative. She previously held senior program and quality leadership roles at Sapeon, Luma Health, Sencha and Adobe Systems. She also founded a STEM education program that reached hundreds of Bay Area students.
โHee-Yeon brings a rare combination of disciplined program leadership and genuine heart for community service,โ NAMI San Mateo County CEO Laura Parmer-Lohan said.
